Ministry
It isn’t always easy to understand the direction in which God is leading us, but trusting the Lord's vision is essential to living a fulfilling life, even when we need to overcome pain and suffering. God taking my daughter home was no easy journey, but ultimately his comfort was immeasurable.
Even at a very young age, I always knew that my life had a purpose. I had been through too much to question God. Mainly because after I went through something painful, he always revealed to me why it was necessary. Some people have to go through to help others to get through. My journey this last year has made it abundantly clear that my ministry is for people of loss. People receive peace through my book, paintings, and sharing my testimony. I enjoyed sharing my testimony with others, and they always responded with their faith being lifted. However, others who have experienced the loss of a family member, friend, child, or miscarriage all say that my testimony brought them peace and put their mind at ease to know where their family members are in heaven. It’s a quick reminder that there are no losses in God.
To leave this earth is to be reunited in heaven with the Father. Suppose we know Jesus and believe that he is the son of God. Then, we will see each other once again in heaven. John 5:24, Jesus says, “Whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment but has passed from death to life!” We all eventually will leave this earth to join God in eternal life. Death should not be something to be feared. However, it's something to celebrate because they have crossed over to eternal life in heaven. The body is at rest, and the bible says in John 6:51, “he who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise them at the last day.” This means that when Jesus returns, he will retrieve the bodies at rest. This is the revelation God gave me when he gave me the book title “While You Were Sleeping?” no one is dead if they are in Christ. The body is only at rest or asleep until that last day.
To conclude, it takes faith to believe that God's plan is better than our own, but when we do, we experience peace and contentment, knowing that we are in good hands.
