Congratulations and welcome to the Nonprofit 101 Program with MYWYA Nonprofit Consulting! I’m truly excited to walk alongside you as you bring your nonprofit vision to life. This program is designed specifically for beginners who are ready to take their ideas and turn them into a fully established nonprofit organization. Over the next three months, we will meet once a week for 45-minute sessions—either by phone or virtual conferencing—to work through every step of the startup process with clarity, confidence, and support. What You Can Expect: Throughout the program, you’ll receive personalized guidance, practical tools, and professional insight to help you accomplish your goals. Topics we will cover include: Writing your Mission, Vision, and Purpose Statements Checking name availability and understanding the importance of trademarking Selecting qualified board members Preparing and submitting your state filings Drafting your Bylaws and Conflict of Interest Policy Completing the 501(c)(3) 1023-EZ IRS application This process is hands-on, and you will be responsible for providing key information and completing certain tasks between sessions. My role is to help you stay on track, provide structure, offer strategic guidance, and keep your vision moving forward.
